5/7/2019

The Burrlington Outdoor Resource Centre (BORC) has been proudly serving York Region District School Board students and staff members for 50 years, providing valuable outdoor and environmental learning. To celebrate this milestone, the resource centre is hosting an event at its heritage schoolhouse. Activities will include a historical story walk, tree planting, nature-themed orienteering, a scavenger hunt and more.

Since BORC opened, outdoor education has been critical part of elementary and secondary school learning in YRDSB. For 50 days, the Board is celebrating by shining a spotlight on outdoor and environmental actions in our system on social media. Visit #50forwardYRDSB on Twitter to learn more.
