At its June 17, 2025 Board meeting, York Region District School Board approved a 2025-2026 budget of $1.8B.
Development of the budget is an ongoing process reflecting decisions made throughout the year and includes Board priorities and direction as established by the Trustees’ Multi-Year Plan and the Director’s Action Plan. Developing a balanced budget is a collaborative process that is undertaken in consultation with trustees, staff and system partners.
