Everyone is welcome to join us for an exciting and vibrant celebration of East Asian cultures! 

East Asian Heritage Celebration: Honoring Culture, Building Connections Event 

Event highlights are:

• Celebrate and honour the rich cultural heritage and expressions of East Asian communities 
• Commemorate the launch of the inaugural SEAS Leadership and Community Impact Student Award
• Enjoy interactive activities led by students and community members
• Participate in a friendly sport activity to foster community bonding and fun
• Experience cultural music, dance, and performances
• Explore virtual showcases featuring the talent and artistry of East Asian students
• Visit and take “A Seat At the Table” as hundreds of YRDSB students share stories of their Canadian identities in a Shadows of Racism Arts exhibit, a partnership between YRDSB and ALPHA Education, hosted at the Markham Civic Centre (next to Unionville HS)
