What:

Students have organized a bone marrow drive to support Austin, a 1-year-old in York Region with a rare immunodeficiency disease. Austin needs a bone marrow transplant to save his life.

The clinic is open to students, staff and community members between the ages of 17 and 35 and in good general health.

4901 Rutherford Road, Woodbridge, ON

When:

Thursday, January 14, 2016
9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Why:

Registering is pain-free and done with a cotton swab .Donors may help save Austin or the lives of others. The clinic supports a district-wide focus on learning about local issues, raising awareness and taking action to make a positive impact in the community.
