Indigenous Artists Create Masks Featured in Royal Ontario Museum Pandemic Exhibition

First Nation, Métis and Inuit Education Consultant Jean Marc Raymond and Multidisciplinary Artist and Métis Knowledge Keeper, Natalie Bertin created face masks that are part of the Royal Ontario Museum's "Unmasking the Pandemic" exhibit.

"It was really quite powerful to know that people are creating at the same time, they are responding to the same pandemic, but are doing so in ways that are true to who they are, that tell their stories," said Jean Marc Raymond.

"Knowing that I'm leaving something there as part of an important collection that is recording human history is a huge honour," said Natalie Bertin.
