Local Students Successful at Provincial French Speaking Competition

Nine York Region District School Board students won awards at a provincial French public speaking competition.

The students were among over 120 secondary school finalists who participated in the French public speaking competition, Concours d’art oratoire. Students presented original speeches before a panel of adjudicators.

Grade 11 and 12 champions can go on to represent Ontario at the National Concours d’art oratoire in June.
