York Region District School Board in partnership with York Catholic District School Board, the City of Markham and York Region are holding a launch celebration for the Markham Active School Travel Pilot program.
The Markham Active School Travel program endeavours to reverse a decline in the rates of walking and cycling to school and promotes the benefits of active travel for children and communities.
This project is made possible through financial support from Green Communities Canada and the Government of Ontario.
