Media Advisory: Students Showcase Their Projects at the First Virtual York Region Science and Technology Fair

York Region District School Board students will join other students virtually in York Region to share their scientific knowledge and problem-solving skills at the annual York Region Science and Technology Fair (YRSTF). This year, due to the ongoing pandemic, the fair will be entirely virtual with students showcasing their projects on the Youth Science Canada ProjectBoard Platform. YRSTF is the gateway fair to select York Region students to compete in the Canada Wide Science Fair.

In 2019, when the fair was last held, four York Region District School Board students were selected to represent York Region and compete in the Canada-Wide Science Fair.
