Students at Stonebridge P.S. have been working with Deron Douglas, a Mohawk artist, to explore First Nation art, cultures and perspectives. Students will display their artwork, inspired by First Nation stories during a school assembly. The assembly will begin with a land acknowledgement and welcome from Traditional Knowledge Keeper Rick Rogers, and include a primary choir performance and student dramatization of a book by a First Nation writer and artist.
