Course Description:
This course provides an overview of the importance of international business and trade in the global economy and explores the factors that influence success in international markets. Students will learn about the techniques and strategies associated with marketing, distribution, and managing international business effectively. This course prepares students for postsecondary programs in business, including international business, marketing, and management.

Required Software/Equipment:
At a minimum, students should have access to:
- Computer;
- Internet connection (high speed is preferable since some demonstrations and lessons may take a long time to download on a dial-up connection);
- Media player (to view streaming video) generally a free download, if not already included with Internet Explorer;
- Word processing and presentation software.
Some of the activities in this course will require the installation of free software "plugins" on your computer. Information regarding these plugins will be available in the course.
