Comptroller, Accounting and Financial Services
As Comptroller, Financial Operations and Risk Management, Janna oversees vendor payments and accounting transactions, internal audit, treasury functions, capital funding, risk management, and community use of schools. She plays a key role in safeguarding Board assets and providing financial guidance to schools and system partners. Under her leadership, the Accounting Department and the Quality Assurance Department ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, compliance with Board policies, and effective management of school and system transactions. Janna’s risk management portfolio encompasses insurance and internal audit functions, while also providing support to the Board’s Audit Committee.
