Students from the leadership team at Maple Leaf P.S. are educating their peers on the effects of bullying and how they can help those being bullied in honour of The International Day of Pink. The leadership team are also creating ‘I Am’ poems from the perspective of the bully, bullied and the bystander as a part of their lessons, which will be shared at a school-wide assembly on April 11. Classes will also be challenged to create their own Anti-bullying pledges.

All students are encouraged to wear pink for the day and will also don pink bracelets with ‘Welcome Worthy Safe at Maple Leaf’ embossed on them to show their support.
