It's Bike to School Week, and students and staff at Bill Hogarth S.S. are encouraging the school community to bike, roll or walk to school.
"Biking is very important to me because it gets me out, it gets me active, and it also has me connecting with my community both physically and socially," said Varun Kumar, Guidance Counsellor and Department Head, Bill Hogarth S.S.
"Normalizing a more environmentally sustainable method of transport is not only better for the climate, the world in general, but also for your physical and mental health," said Brandon, a Grade 12 student at Bill Hogarth S.S.
