The Pathways Team in Curriculum & Instructional Services in collaboration with the York Catholic District School Board and Workforce Planning Board of York Region invites families of students in Grades 9-11 to attend a Skilled Trades and Technology Career Planning Information Night. The goal of this event is to inspire students to take their first step towards a career in industries that are constantly innovating, on the cutting edge of emerging technologies, and making a critical difference in people’s lives. Students will have the opportunity to learn about some of Ontario’s 140+ trades through presentations, a career panel and information booths. They will hear directly from former York Region students, tradespeople and local employers about life-changing career opportunities.
This event is taking place from 6:30 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Our Lady Queen of the World (10475 Bayview Ave, Richmond Hill, ON).

You are invited to secure your space through our YRDSB Skilled Trades &Tech Info Night Registration. The form will close when spaces are full.

Space is limited for each secondary student to bring 1 family member. A confirmation email will be sent to confirm your request and further details will be emailed to you prior to the evening event.

In the registration form, you will have the opportunity to ask questions in advance that will be answered during the career panel discussion.
