Students and staff at Kleinburg Public School turned a Thanksgiving food drive into a year-long initiative.
Initially sparked by an observation of generosity during a Thanksgiving food drive, the school delved into questions about where does the food go, and who benefits from it? Since then, the school has extended its food drive throughout the year and it has had a ripple effect on students, families, and the entire community.
Watch the video to go behind the scenes as a group of 17 students visited the Daily Bread Food Bank to sort donated food and goods. The students learned about the critical role food banks play in supporting families in need.
