Brothers Who Care Economic Pathways to Trust
April 16 - May 26, 2026
Economic Pathways to Trust is a community-driven initiative designed to support Black students in exploring future pathways and seeing themselves reflected in careers such as Finance, Law, STEAM and public safety. This six-week program brings together partners across the public, private and community sectors, including: YRAACC, York Regional Police, and other leading public, private and community organizations.
Students will benefit from direct connections with professionals, increased confidence, financial literacy, and real-world exposure that supports both achievement and post-secondary success. Families will also have opportunities to engage and access practical tools to support their children’s journey.
The program is designed to create meaningful, lasting opportunities for Black youth across York Region. Registration is now open.
Brothers Who Care also offer the I SEE ME Futures campaign and culminating symposium, that intentionally creates space where young people can begin to see themselves in the futures they aspire to.
