York Region District School Board Celebrates Human Rights Ambassador Award Winners

June 16, 2025 – YRDSB’s Human Rights Office celebrated four recipients of the Human Rights Ambassador Award for YRDSB secondary students who have made exceptional contributions to advancing the principles of human rights, equality, diversity and anti-discrimination in their schools during the 2024-2025 school year. 

At the Board’s annual celebration, the students were celebrated for their dedication to inclusion and respect for all. A video and summary of each students’ accomplishments is available on the Board website.
