If you are logging in to Google Classroom, make sure you are only signed into the browser with your school account. Any other instances of another login (i.e. personal Gmail login on another tab) may cause access issues to Google Classroom. Close all your browsers and open them back up again and attempt to log-in again using your YRDSB username and password.

  • ​Check the keyboard layout to ensure you do not have the CAPS LOCK key turned on (Alt+Search turns on CAPS LOCK, Tab+Shift turns off CAPS LOCK). Remember that your password is case-sensitive.
  • Your username is your student number, which is a nine (9) digit number (i.e. 123456789).
  • Confirm your username and password with your teacher.

Check that you are logged into your school account, not your personal Gmail account.

Contact your child's home school for assistance with your EDSBY parent account username and password. Your child's home school is the school your child would have attended prior to becoming a virtual learner.
