Aldergrove Public School will present a Black History Month celebration performance that represents “learning through the arts.”
The 75-minute Junior Intermediate show includes over 200 students and begins with a tribute to African culture through the arts.

Why:
After attending an exhibit about Toronto’s black community, the Blackhurst Street Exhibit, Aldergrove’s Grade 7 students were inspired to create a script that would deepen and enhance their own learning and personal reflections about black history.
