Students from Black Walnut P.S. will engage in a four day sewing workshop with Denise Wild’s Sewing Studio in support of their integrated arts program that focuses on mental health and well-being.
Students from Grade 5-8 will have the opportunity to learn from a diverse group of instructors to create a personal sewing project, as well as contribute to a larger collaborative school patchwork legacy project called, “Mattering and Belonging”.

1:45 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Why:
To support the school’s integrated arts program and to help foster an environment for students in which stakeholders feel like a significant part of the larger collective.
