Glenn Gould P.S. Students Participate in Black History Month Art Workshop

To deepen their learning during Black History Month, students at Glenn Gould P.S. participated in an art workshop with contemporary Nigerian Canadian artist Benny Bing.

"For me, it's a very proud moment and especially it being Black History Month, where we can incorporate our history with a very creative session such as the one we did, it inspires the kids," said artist Benny Bing. "And if we do this more, and the more we do this, it creates the type of curiosity to learn more about our history."

"I think Benny's presentation was really inspirational because he taught us to do what you love and be proud of who you are," said Iniyaa, Grade 8 student.
