Indigenous students in Grade 8 came together to take part in a hand drum making workshop to celebrate their transition to high school. They will now carry these drums with them as they step forward into high school in a good way.
The students learned teachings about the drums and how to make and care for them from Angela Duckworth, Indigenous Health Promoter at the Carea Community Health Centre.
