Registration for Additional Qualifications Courses - Summer 2025
The York Region District School Board is an approved provider of accredited Schedule C and D Additional Qualification Courses for Ontario teachers. Each course includes 125 hours of inquiry-based, experiential learning.
All classes are held online (synchronous). See the day below. REGISTRATION CLOSES ON Thursday, June 26th at noon.
All classes are held online (synchronous) from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm. daily. Courses begin Monday, July 7th, 2025 and end Friday, July 18th, 2025. With the exception of Special Education, Part 1, that will be running from Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025 to Tuesday, July 15th, 2025. Please see tthe courses offered below.
Candidates are expected to attend all sessions. Candidates who miss the first session will not be permitted to continue the course.
Note: that you will also receive a copy of your payment from Connect2Learn. Full payment is required before the course begins, regardless of any plans to apply for a subsidy. Payment must be made in full to confirm your registration.
Candidates must complete this form, upload necessary documentation and pay for the course to be enrolled.

Cost
The cost for each AQ Course is $650 + tax.
