Chief Education Officer
The Chief Education Officer provides leadership in the strategic planning, development, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement of Board programs. Along with board departments, works proactively with the Board’s senior team to support the Board’s Mission, Vision and Values as well as developing and executing the Board’s Multi-Year Strategic Plan (MYSP), and District Action Plan (DAP). He provides support to the Board of Trustees and system wide oversight and leadership to Superintendents and senior staff in support of student achievement and wellbeing and system service excellence.
As Chief Education Officer, Neil supports superintendent learning; has oversight of Superintendents of Education with responsibility for families of schools in the West and Central areas. He also has oversight of Curriculum & Instructional Services; Human Resource Services, leadership development and engagement, and school operations, as well as the Parent, Family and Community Engagement Advisory Committee.
