With a career encompassing more than three decades, in three different public school boards in Ontario, Dr. Elizabeth Sinclair has established herself as a dedicated educational leader, and public speaker. The role of a trustee comes with many important responsibilities. As a trustee, it is my role to communicate with members of the public and advocate for quality public education. The Board of Trustees is also responsible for making decisions about policies, budget and setting priorities for the Board through the Multi-Year Strategic Plan. I also serve on a number of Board committees.
We welcome feedback from the families and the communities we serve. I encourage you to regularly check the YRDSB website for news, updates and resources from the Board, including the Message from the Board Chair. You can also follow @YRDSB on Twitter for further updates.
