Information for the 2024-2025 School Year
The Community Use of Schools department is now accepting online permit requests for the 2024-2025 school year. Permits run between September 16, 2024 and June 15, 2025.
New permit requests may be placed throughout the year and will be approved in accordance with our policy and procedure.
Summer 2025
Summer permits run between July 7, 2025 and August 17, 2025.
All denied permits are placed on our waiting list and you will be contacted if a space becomes available. Please do not place numerous requests if you are only looking to permit one day, time and location.
Please note effective September 1, 2024, fees will increase by 3.1%.

General Information
Please check the eBase site frequently for updates and messages about your permit request. You will be notified electronically once your permit has been completely processed or if we are unable to grant your request.
Using the credit card option for monthly payments ensures a zero balance at the end of each month and at the end of your permit. You will be charged for the actual usage at the end of each month. This will also result in a quicker turn around in receiving your permit as the postdated payments will not have to be received before we forward your permit to you.
The Board believes that all learners, leaders and community members have a shared responsibility for minimizing their effect on the environment and taking an active role in protecting it. Permit holders and users of Board facilities are expected to support the Board’s efforts to reduce and divert waste, and to reduce energy and water use in our schools.
