As the Coordinating Superintendent, Human Resource Services, People and Culture, Neil Gunathunge is responsible for:

  • compensation, pension, benefits, retirements, and leaves

  • recruitment, selection and retention

  • staff well-being, attendance and disability management

  • workplace health & safety

  • employee & labour relations

  • bargaining

  • daily casual dispatching

  • human resource information systems (HRIS)

  • Labour and Negotiations

  • works with all employee groups to provide leadership for all labour negotiation tables, inclusive of meeting coordination, facilitation and issue negotiation, contingency planning and leadership.
