YRDSB Trustees Seeking Community Input in Search for Director of Education

York Region District School Board has launched a survey to collect feedback on the qualities and characteristics community members would like to see in the Board’s new director of education.

The Board of Trustees has engaged the services of Four Corners Group, a leading Canadian executive search firm, to gather community input and recommendations of the Board’s new director of education. You can share your feedback through a confidential online survey

“The community’s input is vital to the Board of Trustees,” said Board Chair and Trustee Ron Lynn. “Recruiting the Director of Education is one of the most critical tasks that Trustees will engage in and we look forward to hearing from the community to support this important process and decision.”

The survey results will be submitted electronically directly to the executive search firm.  The feedback gained from the survey will ensure that the candidate profile, job description and evaluation criteria are aligned with the needs of the community and the strategic direction of the Board. All responses will be held in strict confidence by the firm. Responses received by Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. will be considered in the development of the Director of Education candidate profile, job description and evaluation criteria. Responses received after this date will be shared with trustees for their information.
