Richmond Hill, Wards 1, 2 and 4 Trustee By-Election Results

July 17, 2024 –  York Region District School Board is pleased to congratulate the successful candidate of the Richmond Hill, Wards 1, 2 and 4 trustee by-election, Robert Kolosowski, for the remainder of the 2022-26 Term of Office.

“I would like to congratulate Robert on his success. I would also like to recognize the hard work and efforts of all nine candidates who ran in this by-election,” said Board Chair Ron Lynn. “The dedication and passion shown by all candidates in supporting the students and families of York Region is admirable.”

The official results of the July 15 by-election are posted on the City of Richmond Hill website.

Mr. Kolosowski’s contact information will be posted to his Trustee Profile Page on the Board’s public website and shared with his schools.

Trustee Elect Kolosowski will be sworn into office this week and will attend the August 27, 2024 Board meeting as a member of the Board of Trustees to serve for the remainder of the 2022-2026 term.
