Privacy and Information Management

York Region District School Board is committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of personal information in our possession or control. The Board has a duty to protect the personal information that it collects, uses and discloses under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection Act (MFIPPA) and any other applicable legislation.

Protecting your Personal Information

The Information Access and Privacy Office is accountable for the Board’s policies and procedures with respect to the management of all records. The Board is committed to collecting, using and disclosing personal information responsibly and only to the extent necessary for the services and programs we provide. We also try to be open and transparent as to how we manage information.
