Staff and students at Ramer Woods PS have come together to create a food pantry for families and community members in need.
Originally created by staff member Rachel Sin, this important initiative has continued to grow, thanks to student and staff volunteers who have joined forces to provide essential supplies for families in need. Family members in need are able to use the food pantry anonymously each week to ensure they have access to nutritious foods.
The program is funded exclusively through donations and grants from local organizations and provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable life lessons about the importance of helping others and develop skills like cooperation, organization and teamwork.
