Adults 18 years of age or older, who are not attending a regular day school may apply using this category. Applicants may be eligible to enroll in up to 4 credits per semester.
YRDSB students currently attending the Adult Day School must apply through MyBluePrint (this application is for external applicants only).
Note: Adults 18-20yrs. who are not attending a regular day school, must submit a Letter of Exit or Proof of Graduation from the last school attended. Applicants not attending a day school (must submit a letter of exit from the last school attended). Submit all documents prior to applying online.

- Expired documents will not be accepted.
- For applicants not able to email documents, please contact the office for other options at online.learning@yrdsb.ca.
- The Registration Coordinator will contact applicants if a registration interview is required.

Note: Online Learning Night School does not contact applicants advising them of incomplete applications. Ensure that a complete application is submitted. Clicking on the 'Begin Online Application' link above indicates that you understand and accept all policies, practices, and procedures at Online Learning Night School.
Visa students, non-residents of Ontario, and others who do not qualify to take courses in Ontario will be required to pay the full tuition fee.
To register for Online Learning Night School, please send an email to online.learning@yrdsb.ca. In the email, please provide the following information:
- Advise that you currently attend the Adult Day School (Dr. Bette Stephenson Centre for Learning) and would like to register for an Online Learning course(s)
- First and last name
- Student number
- Course(s) you would like to take
The Online Learning office will contact you if you need to provide any updated documentation.
Students Not in a Publicly Funded School Board, and under the age of 18 years.
Only if you qualify, request that your Guidance Counsellor sends a confirmation email to online.learning@yrdsb.ca. The email subject line must include your full name, OEN, and the course code for which you have permission. The body of the email message may be left blank. In addition, attach a copy of the Original Transcript OR Credit Counselling Summary. If approved, students are eligible to take up to 2 credits in each of the fall and the winter semesters.
