York Region District School Board Cancelling Board Meetings, Moving Public Budget Consultations Online

Aurora, ON – York Region District School Board has canceled all Board, Advisory and committee meetings. The public budget consultations are also being cancelled, in compliance with orders issued by the Government of Ontario to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. 

Public budget consultations were scheduled to take place between March 25-31. Input from families and community members provides the Board with valuable information about how the community would like to see the school board budget allocated to better support student achievement and well-being. An online survey will be made available in the coming weeks to ensure the community has an opportunity to provide input. 

York Region District School Board is the third largest school district in Ontario with over 127,000 students in 180 elementary schools and 33 secondary schools.
