York Region District School Board Seeks Parent, Family and Community Engagement Advisory Committee Members

The York Region District School Board values parent, family and community engagement in public education and the positive impact it has on student achievement and well-being. The York Region District School Board currently is accepting applications for membership on the Board’s Parent, Family and Community Engagement Advisory Committee.

The term of office will commence on November 14, 2017. Applications are due Friday, August 18, 2017.

The Parent, Family and Community Engagement Advisory Committee supports, encourages and enhances parent engagement at the Board level in order to improve student achievement and well-being. It represents the collective voice of parents who have children attending public schools in York Region.

Members are expected to attend six meetings each year at the Education Centre in Aurora.
