Night School Credit Courses

 

2020-2021 Night School Credit Classes

Please be advised that our traditional in class face-to-face Night School program will move to a remote learning delivery model. The program will be delivered virtually in real-time (synchronous). Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30-9:45 p.m. 
 
Before the start of the program, students will receive an email with instructions on how to join the class on the first day. YRDSB students will log in with their gapps accounts and non-YRDSB students will be provided with different instructions that will be sent to the email address provided on their registration form.

*Decisions to run courses are based on sufficient enrollment and teacher availability*

Semester One - Fall 2020:

October 6, 2020 to February 4, 2021

Semester Two - Winter 2021

February 18, 2021 to June 22, 2021

How To Register

  1. Register online by my Pathway Planner
    Winter Registration is Now Closed:The first night of class is Thursday, February 18.  My Pathway Planner will close at noon on Thursday, February 11. 
  2. Any YRDSB students who register after Thursday, February 11 will need to complete an online registration form as my Pathway Planner will be closed. Once submitted, a form will be emailed to them. 
  3. Please share the form with your guidance counsellor and have them email it to continuing.education@yrdsb.ca with their approval as our office is closed.
  4. Students may register up to Thursday, February 25 with the understanding that it is their responsiblilty to catch up on any missed work.

Please note: We encourage students to register early as course offerings are not guaranteed and are subject to sufficient enrollment.

  2. If you are currently an Adult Day School student with the Dr Bette Stephenson Centre for Learning (DBSCL) we will arrange to have your registration form reviewed.
  3. If you are an adult student who is not currently attending a day school please email the completed form to continuing.education@yrdsb.ca with a copy of your last transcript or credit counselling summary. If you are unable to locate your last transcript or credit counselling summary, non-submission will not impact your registration.   
  4. Students may register up to Thursday, February 25​ with the understanding that it is their responsibility to catch up on any missed work.

Required Identification: Non-YRDSB and Adult Students must bring: proof of status in Canada, proof of Ontario residency, and photo identification for registration.

Textbooks: All students are responsible for obtaining the course textbook. 

Attendance: Students must attend the first day of class to secure their position in the course.

International Fee: $500
