Aquatic Leadership Program

The Aquatic Leadership Program is offered in partnership between the York Region District School Board, Continuing Education and the City of Markham and the Town of Aurora.  The program uses a blended learning format consisting of pool instruction, face-to-face instruction and on-line learning to deliver Ministry of Education credits and Swim, Lifeguarding and Instructor Certifications.

Due to COVID-19 and physical distancing requirements in instructional settings at community centres the YRDSB Aquatic Leadership Program will not be offered in the 2021-2022 school year. The program will resume in the 2022-2023 school year.
