York Region District School Board is accepting applications for membership on the Board’s Parent, Family and Community Engagement Advisory Committee (PEAC).
PEAC supports, encourages and enhances parent engagement at the Board level in order to improve student achievement and well-being. It represents the collective voice of parents who have children attending public schools in York Region.
Interested parents/guardians and community members are invited to submit an online application form by June 15, 2022 or can request a copy of the form by email at leadership.development.engagement@yrdsb.ca or telephone at 905-727-0022 ext. 3650.
PEAC members are expected to attend a minimum of five meetings each year. The first meeting date for the new membership is December 1, 2022, which is a joint meeting with the Equity and Inclusivity Advisory Committee (EIAC).

Interested applicants can attend a virtual information session to learn more about this parent engagement opportunity. A recording of the information session will also be available after the event.
