Report a Human Rights Issue

The Human Rights Office (HRO) Reporting Form is available to any member of the YRDSB community to report discrimination or harassment that is believed to breach Human Rights Policy #240 and Ontario's Human Rights Code.

Note to students: The Report It tool lets students share information about inappropriate behaviour or incidents of hate or discrimination that happen at school, at school-related events, online or off school property.

Please note: The Human Rights Office does not accept anonymous complaints.

The information you provide will be kept confidential, in accordance with Policy 240.

If you have not heard from our office within 3 business days after submitting this form, please email human.rights@yrdsb.ca.

 
 
The Ontario Human Rights Code prohibits discrimination and harassment based on 17 protected grounds. Your complaint must be related to one of these Code grounds to fall under the jurisdiction of the Human Rights Office. Please select the appropriate Code ground below. You may select more than one.
