The Summer Institute is a summer learning program unlike any other, set in its own community atmosphere. Children entering Senior Kindergarten to Grade 8 enjoy a variety of academic, recreational and athletic hands-on programs and activities giving them reasons to hope, dream, and aspire to any goal based on a foundation of academic success.
Summer Institute Volunteers serve as an important role in our program. Each volunteer will work in a program under the direction of the counsellor and program leader.
Program Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. 7 volunteer hours per day plus a 30 minute lunch.
Volunteer Hours: 35 hours per week, except week 5 which is 28 hours.
Commitment: Suggested minimum TWO full weeks, additional weeks available. Preference will be given to applicants who can volunteer for more than two weeks in the same program area.
Uniform: Volunteer shirt provided.
For 2023, we will be accepting volunteer application forms on or after April 1st.
