Arts Program

Athletics
Athletics and organized sports contribute to health and well-being. The York Region Elementary Athletic Association coordinates and encourages participation in athletic activities. of students.
French Immersion
We offer Core French and French Immersion. In French Immersion, students receive instruction in French in a variety of subjects from a teacher who speaks French fluently.
Gifted Screening
Screening for the identification of Gifted students takes place in Grade 3. Students identified as Gifted may have their needs met in a regular class setting or full-time gifted program.
Outdoor Education
All students have an opportunity to visit one of the board's five Outdoor Education Centres. The programs are designed to support and enrich the Ontario Curriculum.
York Region Skills Challenge
These events bring together students from across York Region to compete against fellow students in skills-based challenges.
