Indigenous Languages and International Languages - FAQs

2021-2022 School Year

For the fall classes, we plan to deliver lessons online. Please note the program delivery model may change from online to face-to-face during the school year. If school buildings remain closed to Indigenous Languages and International Languages (ILIL) program due to health and safety regulations, then we will offer live language lessons, using Google Classroom, during the regularly scheduled language class. Please continue to check our webpage for updates.

No. At this time there will be no in-person registration at the language sites. This is why it is important to register online as soon as possible.

Registration for the 2021-2022 school year is now available online through EDSBY. For locations, times and dates, please see the list of elementary courses.

If you are experiencing issues with EDSBY, please contact our office via email: ilil@yrdsb.ca.

Please note:  Due to space limitations, registration will take place on a first-come, first-served basis.

For YRDSB students, register online with myPathway Planner.

For non-YRDSB, download and complete the online Registration Form. Visit our Secondary webpage for details.
