Explore Opportunities Beyond Ontario
While many students choose to attend college, university or apprenticeship programs in Ontario, you may also wish to explore opportunities in other provinces, territories or countries.
Studying elsewhere can provide unique academic programs, learning experiences and opportunities to live in a new community.
As you begin your research, be sure to review admission requirements, application processes, tuition costs and housing options, as these may differ from what you will find in Ontario.
Studying in Another Province or Territory
As you explore your options:
- Research programs that match your interests and goals.
- Review admission requirements and application deadlines.
- Compare tuition, housing and living costs.
- Attend virtual or in-person information sessions.
- Visit campuses, if possible or view virtual campus tours.
Students applying to colleges and universities outside Ontario should carefully review each institution's website for current application requirements and procedures.
Ontario secondary school students applying to any of the listed Canadian universities outside of Ontario can authorize the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) to transfer their academic data to the listed out-of-province university.
