Application Instructions
Step 1
- Download and fill out the application form for each student, specifying the start and end date.
- Download and fill out the activity selection form.
- Provide a photocopy of the passport. Groups must provide a chaperone agreement and a detailed participant list.
- If homestay accommodation is required, please select from one of the Homestay providers.
Step 2
Submit the registration package along with the full payment to:

Payment can be made in one of two ways:
- Within Canada, payment by money order, bank draft or certified cheque payable to York Region District School Board
- Outside of Canada, payment by electronic wire transfer must be made via the WU® GlobalPay for Students payments platform. This approved and reliable service allows you to pay in local currency ensuring payments will be received on time and in full.
Step 3
- Once YRDSB has received all documents and full payment, a Letter of Acceptance and Receipt of payment will be issued to the parent/custodian/agency.
Step 4
- Complete and return the Arrival Confirmation Form by fax (905 773 2406) or email to the Admissions Office (admissions@yrdsb.ca)
Step 5
- Arrive at school on Monday morning at 8:45 a.m. on the first day of class
