This program is for ESL international students who are at a beginner to intermediate level of English and want to improve their use of English.

The office of International Education Services will be moving during the summer months and the exact date is unknown; therefore, the program may take place at either the Dr. Bette Stephenson Centre for Learning (current location) or Dr. GW Williams Secondary School (new location).

Emergency Medical Insurance - Coverage begins the Saturday before the start of the program. YRDSB students arriving before this date will require additional insurance. Non-YRDSB students arriving before this date, or remaining after the end date will require additional insurance.

The Summer English Language Academy (SELA) is combination ESL/summer camp program available for a minimum of 2 weeks up to 5 weeks and is available to:
Half day is focused on learning English, and the other half day students are immersed with local students while participating in camp activities (program electives). Students may select up to 10 program electives offered at their preferred location.

Please note, in the event of low registrations students may be redirected to the alternate location.
