The Beny-Sur-Mer Cemetery is a Canadian War Cemetery containing soldiers killed in the early stages of the Battle of Normandy during the Second World War. It's home to 2048 Canadians. The black-and-white photo below was retrieved from a book in the YRDSB Museum & Archives while the photos above are from my own experience visiting the cemetery. It's beautifully maintained. Our group laid a wreath and had a small commemoration of the Canadians lost here.
