Apprenticeships after Secondary School

The following links will provide you with information on how you can start a career in the skilled trades after you finish secondary school.

The Apprenticeship Office staff will help you register as an apprentice and will monitor your training as you progress through your apprenticeship.

If you are enrolled in OYAP, your teacher will advise you on the appropriate time to contact the Apprenticeship Branch.

From the menu at the top of the page, select Students, choose Search Opportunities and in Browse by Type, select Apprenticeship.

  • Co-op (College) Diploma Apprenticeship Programs offer a unique experience to concurrently complete an apprenticeship in-school curriculum, an apprenticeship co-op experience and a College Diploma.

For additional information, go to About the Co-Op College Diploma Apprenticeship Program.

Contact your MTCU Training Consultant, show them a copy of your IEP and ask if it is possible for you to have similar accommodations on your licensing exams.
